New Forest Hotels - The Woodlands Lodge

The Woodlands Lodge Hotel is a charming Luxury Country House hotel set in three acres that open directly onto Hampshire's New Forest. As well as a hotel, The Woodlands Lodge also has a restaurant open to non-residents and conference facilities available for hire.

You need a break, with the minimum of hassle. It has to be really relaxing. At Woodlands you will experience real luxury but without the ostentation that sometimes goes with it.

Standing within the beautiful gardens this elegant Georgian house has been refurbished to a superb standard. All 16 rooms:

• are en-suite with shower and whirlpool bath*,
• have television with remote control and fast-text++,
• have an iPod compatible radio alarm clock,
• hairdryer,
• facilities for making tea, coffee and hot chocolate.
• Room service is also available.

Rooms are available with 4-poster beds, real flame fires and views into the forest: ground floor rooms with their own conservatories. Some pictures of the hotel and grounds. We have also have a garden bridal suite.

Woodlands is situated right on the edge of the New Forest which is a unique area of 144 square miles of woods and heathland. You may find it interesting to look at some of the Terms used to describe aspects of Forest life.

As well as enjoying all that English forests have to offer, there is a large variety of local attractions, recreational activities, cathedrals and coastal cities and towns. (See our links page). Alternatively you may prefer just to relax in the hotel or around the grounds.

You are welcome to bring your pets, such as dogs and ponies, with you. Dogs are allowed in a number of the rooms and we have a stable and paddock for those who would like to bring their horse. For further information see our 'pets welcome' section.
